AC Milan are ready to go back in for Real Madrid’s Endrick in the winter window, but they may face competition from a rival.
Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) write this morning that Roma signed six new players in the summer – Koulierakis, Balerdi, Molina, De Roon, Rodrigo Mora, and Castro – but are already thinking about how to improve Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad further.

They’re evaluating several high-profile free agents, ranging from former Bayern Munich player Raphael Guerreiro to the Ukrainian Zinchenko. Then, there is the winter mercato.
A duel for Endrick
As Gasperini admitted in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport , Luiz Henrique of Zenit St. Petersburg and Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens were the two main targets the Giallorossi management focused on.
These targets fell through due to cost concerns and the club’s limited options, especially in terms of wages. The same goes for Stuttgart’s German Leweling, who showed uncertainty right up until the last minute about Roma’s offer and ultimately rejected it.
None of this means sporting director Tony D’Amico doesn’t want to try again when the transfer window reopens, and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, one name worth considering is Real Madrid’s Endrick.
The Brazilian – who returned to his parent club after a very successful six-month loan spell at Lyon – ultimately remained with José Mourinho. The new head coach opposed any possibility of a transfer due to his strong belief in the player’s qualities.

Among the clubs interested in Endrick are AC Milan: owner Gerry Cardinale had identified him as a high-calibre player to give to Rubén Amorim the role of attacking midfielder. However, Real Madrid’s refusal remained firm until the end.
The Rossoneri will be keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old’s performances and playing time between now and January and could return to the fray, but now they know they have additional competition.
The paper even reports that there’s a belief within the Roma dressing room that Endrick, should he leave Real Madrid in January, has a clear preference for the Giallorossi. He allegedly confided to some friends that he wants to join his compatriot Wesley in the capital.
Much will depend on Roma’s league and Champions League standings at that point in the season, and whether Real Madrid actually open up to favourable terms – such as a loan – for their striker.

Had it not been for mendes, we would have never signed Goncalo and Diego. Ramos and Gila were Allegri’s and Tare’s idea, not even those two are (originally) Amorim’s idea, to be 100% fair and frank.
Toxic
Not at all.
if we got him (loan) or Mateta instead Fullkrug last january maybe we are in CL this season,
atleast Allegri, foolani & other incompetent gone
