CM: Milan and Roma interested in Eintracht Frankfurt winger as Inter’s pursuit fades

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of the clubs interested in signing Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, according to a report.

Kostic joined the Bundesliga side back in July 2019 and he has become one of their most important players, helping them on a run to the Europa League semi-finals in the same season they had Ante Rebic, Luka Jovic and Sebastian Haller all firing.

The 29-year-old is known for his versatility because he can play almost anywhere down the left flank from wing-back up to winger, and he has 3 goals and 10 assists in 23 appearances for Frankfurt this season.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Inter’s interest in the Serbian has faded a bit with the arrival of Robin Gosens from Atalanta. However, Kostic still has a market in Italy because both Roma and Milan are keen on signing him this summer.

Given that Milan are well covered on the left with Leao and Rebic there, it raises questions about the role they envision Kostic having.
