From Argentina: Milan and Roma possible destinations as PSG striker eyes next move

AC Milan have been named as a potential destination for Mauro Icardi ahead of the summer transfer window by a report from Argentina.

Icardi is on loan from PSG to Galatasaray until the end of the season with the striker having not been part of the plans of the new head coach Christophe Galtier when he took over the Parisian team.

Given that Icardi is approaching the end of his contract – which runs until June 2024 – the Argentine is beginning to consider options for the immediate future of his career, given his loan runs out at the end of the season too.

According to a report on TyC Sport, his wife and agent Wanda Nara told Rai 2 that the idea is that Icardi does not return to Paris when his contract ends in Turkey despite scoring 9 goals in 12 games on loan in Turkey.

They also cite Argentine source BolaVip in claiming that Milan and Roma are possible destinations as both are in need of a centre-forward for the coming seasons. The possibility of joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr also emerged for the 30-year-old.
