CM.it: Milan had scout at Juventus-Bologna game to watch midfielder Gullit praised

AC Milan had a scout present at the Allianz Stadium over the weekend to watch a Bologna midfielder in action, according to a report.

Dutch midfielder Jerdy Schouten among the best players on the park in the game between Juventus and Bologna which ended 1-1, and Calciomercato.it report that the 25-year-old is attracting interest from some of the bigger clubs in Serie A.

During the match, a certain Ruud Gullit’s gave his certificate of esteem as he spoke to broadcaster Ziggo Sport: “He plays the ball with confidence and is always in the right place. He would be the ideal player for his form [for the Dutch national team].”

The former Excelsior man appears to be in the crosshairs of two or three top clubs in Serie A but above all Milan and Roma, with Atalanta and Napoli in the background. The Rossoneri and Giallorossi scouts – as well as some from various Bundesliga clubs – were at the Allianz Stadium to watch him.

Bologna paid only €2m to land him three summers ago, but now the Rossoblu are enjoying his performances while looking forward to an auction and a collection that will give them a big capital gain.
