AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli is currently more likely to join Juventus than he is to extend his contract at the club, according to one journalist.
According to what Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com said during a live stream (via Twitter), the chances of Romagnoli staying at Milan and renewing his contract and thus extending his stay beyond seven years are currently only at 30%.
However, what is a worry is that Longo goes on to state that there is a ‘70% chance’ that he joins Juventus in the summer who are looking to freshen up their centre-back department given Chiellini’s repeated injury problems, De Ligt’s uncertain future and the fact Bonucci is now 34.
Romagnoli found himself dropped to a rotation role not long after the arrival of Fikayo Tomori but given the recent selection issues in the defence he is back to being the first name on the team sheet in that department while the Englishman is out, so Maldini and Massara must be giving thought to extending his deal at an amount both parties agree on.

Until it happens, I will reserve my judgement. For now, this is just hearsay.
This trand of leaving to rival teams must end now! Even Napoli players going to America rather than joining italian teams.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Romagnoli is a great guy and is willing to take a salary cut, but he still is the most expensive player of the entire squad. He costs more than Tomori and Kjaer together. His agent Mino knows Milan isn’t going to change their stance so he’s now trying to scare us with Juventus talk. However we’re never afraid and if Romagnoli is really going to Juventus our coach and attackers know perfectly who they have to deal with.
Romagnoli is like slowpoke who could not keep his pace with Lukaku and Lautaro (in last year derby). Kalulu is better than him. Let him go to juve so its easier to exploit his weakness.
You can go to Juventus. It’s not like Milan don’t have good CB.
More like 100 percent chance. He will replace De Ligt. Raiola has already had this deal in place for quite some time…
we should try and get Bernardeschi on free from them in return.
Raiola is doing his job really great.
– He will push Juve to sell de Light
– He will push Romagnoli to join Juventus at de Light’s position
So he is making just rotating his own squad in 1 position and making a double commission.
He often sells a talented young player to a team where that player will struggle. This way, he just re-sells him somewhere else and makes a double commission from a single player.
He did the same with Donnarumma. Sold to a team where they already had a top-level GK. So Gigi started considering leaving PSG. For Raiola, it would be a double sale.
He will do the same with Holland. Selling to pre-crisis Barcelona to find another buyer next year.
I this is all media BS. If he leaves my money is on a PL team.
