Tuttosport: Milan will not rush into decision on midfielder’s future

AC Milan are not going to rush into a decision on the future of Spanish attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz who is on loan at the club, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), the Rossoneri are not going to fully evaluate their intentions for Diaz’s future until the latter part of the 2022/23 Serie A season.

Diaz is in his second year of a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid which means that he is set to return to the La Liga champions at the end of the current campaign. After a slow start, he has performed very well in recent weeks.

It is believed that Milan can keep Diaz on a permanent deal if they are willing to pay Real Madrid €22 million.

Whilst Diaz’s quality is undoubted, he is not the most consistent player and the club could decide to invest that money elsewhere in the Rossoneri squad in the summer.
