According to a report from Calciomercato.it, Milan will be in the market for a new winger this summer and it is no surprise that the management have had their attention diverted towards Chukwueze, given he has 13 goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season.
The 23-year-old has a contract expiring in 2024 and an €80m release clause, but Villarreal are conscious of the fact he could agree a pre-contract with another team in January 2024 and leave on a free.
That is why he could become an opportunity for a club like Milan given he has the perfect profile for the project. The LaLiga side could grant a substantial discount because of the clause situation, while the report also mentions that Napoli have been linked with Victor Osimhen’s compatriot.
