AC Milan started their pre-season in the best way possible with a 2-1 win against FC Köln last night. For the upcoming week, they will have a training camp before taking on the Hungarian side Zalaegerszegi TE.
The Rossoneri have three friendlies left to play before the start of the Serie A season, scheduled for August 13. The feeling, based on yesterday’s clash, is that they will be in relatively good shape by then, ready to take on Udinese.
Milan will take on Zalaegerszegi TE at 18:00 CEST next Saturday and on the Sunday, they will travel to Villach in Austria for a training camp. The latter will culminate with the friendly clash against Wolfsberger on the 27th.
Stefano Pioli will have a lot more of his ‘stars’ available for the upcoming friendlies after they were granted extra vacation due to international duty. The youngsters will thus get less space, which was to be expected.
