The paper reports that Milan are watching the 20-year-old’s development closely, amid the reports that he will get his first ever start for the Italian national team under Roberto Mancini during the break.
Rossoneri after Romano
Romano scored goal on his Serie A debut at the Stadio Tardini against Parma, and he has five games as a holding midfielder with Cagliari under his belt, so he couldn’t have imagined a better start to the season.

According to Calciomercato.com, Romano will have half of Europe’s eyes on him at the Stadio Olimpico when he should start against Belgium. Milan have already accredited one of its scouts to closely monitor the Cagliari midfielder at Ruben Amorim’s ‘specific request’.
Romano is highly intriguing to the Portuguese coach. Juventus, Inter, and several LaLiga clubs are also interested in the former Roma man, but any discussions will be postponed until next summer.
In January, barring irresistible offers, he won’t move from Cagliari. President Giulini is starting to make his calculations, and the idea is a valuation of €20-25m at the moment which could rise.

He’s from Roma idk if we can agree on something.
If he’s truly His Request why not ?
An Italian name does not get any more Italian than this
On a second thought, maybe “Italiano” beats “Romano”
