AC Milan’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncada could be going to look at a centre-back target first hand tonight, according to a report.
According to what is being reported by Efe Kirkyildiz, Moncada has requested accreditation to attend Galatasaray’s home Europa League second leg against Barcelona tonight, and he has done so in order to watch Danish centre-back Victor Nelsson in action.
The 23-year-old is a Denmark international and he only joined Galatasaray back in August 2021 having signed from FC Copenhagen for a fee of €7m (via Wikipedia). As stipulated in the contract he signed with the Turkish side, a release clause of €25m for clubs in Europe is currently in force.
He has played 39 games for Galatasaray so far this season across all competitions with one goal and one assist to his name, and as per Transfermarkt he has also played defensive midfield as well as his natural role of centre-back.
