Journalist claims Milan scout watched playmaker during Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Leipzig

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan had a scout present to watch Eintracht Frankfurt star Daichi Kamada in action recently, according to a report.

The playmaker has already racked up 7 goals and 5 assists this season in addition to another 3 goals in the Champions League and 3 in the German Cup. So far with Eintracht Frankfurt he has scored 37 goals and 31 assists in 163 matches, but his deal is expiring at the end of the season.

According to Ekrem Konur of ESPN and Marca among others, Milan are also thinking about the Japanese playmaker to strengthen their squad. The Rossoneri and Barcelona had scouts present to watch him in Frankfurt’s latest league match against Leipzig.

Milan could lose Brahim Diaz at the end of the season as the Spaniard may in fact return to Real Madrid at the end of his loan, while Charles De Ketelaere has not yet hit any form and Yacine Adli is barely getting any playing time, so Maldini and Massara are on the lookout for opportunities like Kamada.

  1. Nice move if we can make it happens. Great player and we can grab some Japan’s ‘market share’ for the bonus. But it seems like he’s destined to go to Dortmund.
