AC Milan are heading into yet another summer window where they need to invest in the right striker, and the studying process is underway.
According to TMW, Milan have been monitoring Fiorentina striker Moise Kean in recent months. The Italian was coached at Juventus by Massimiliano Allegri, and he is a name that seems to unite the manager and the management, so much so that he has been scouted in depth.

There are no ongoing negotiations or contact between the parties, partly because Kean is focused on Fiorentina and on achieving survival. Also noteworthy is this summer’s World Cup, which could certainly provide a showcase for La Viola’s star man, should Italy qualify.
A key issue is the release clause in his contract, set at €62m and valid only for a certain portion of the summer mercato. More specifically, the buy-out will be active between July 1st and July 15th, so practically until the end of the World Cup.
As a reminder, Matteo Moretto confirmed recently that Allegri was actually keen on an attempt for Kean in the January window, but the directors seemed to pursue Jean-Philippe Mateta instead until his failed medical saw the €35m deal collapse right at the end of the market.
Not sure if he is the long term answer to our issues, but he does provide a different profile to what we already have. We need a consistent 20 goal poacher to have any chance of competing on the UCL stage…but those ones are far and few apart. We have been churning out flops for a good couple of seasons and need some permanence going forward ( reliable able available).

Sometimes the coach should just try something new like tweaking the team’s formation. Allegri played and excelled with 4-3-3 at Milan before leaving for Juventus. If the team is not willing to buy the calibre of players the coach needs, it’s better for the management and Allegri’s camp to build faith in the youth team and also scout younger players with potential.

Not agree. To compete on CL level and for scudetto we need already made players. Look on the impact of Rabiot and Modric.
But we do have top players in Leao and Pulisic, its cheaper to use a formation that fit the players you have than try to buy world class players to replace the ones you already have, we did pretty well under Pioli, playing some attractive football at times. Imagine if we had players like Modric, Rabiot, Jashari in that moment.
I laugh like never before, Kean of all strikers in the whole world? Kean is strong ,energetic but he doesn’t have what it takes to be on the same level with all the strikers that has excelled with Milan in the past. He’s not better than nkukun , giminez and co.
