Milan seal a seeded spot for the Round of 32 – details on the draw and the possible opponents

By Oliver Fisher -

As AC Milan stole top spot in Group H with a 1-0 win over Sparta Praha in the sixth round of matches, they have secured a seed for the first knockout round.

In the end it would be a first half solo goal from Jens Petter Hauge that was the difference as he continued his fantastic recent form, making it three goals in his last four games.

That means that the Rossoneri should in theory get a kinder draw in the Round of 32, but they alsoย net an extra โ‚ฌ500k from finishing topย as opposed to second, making it a good night all round.

The draw for the Round of 32 will take place on 14 December at 13:00 CET at the UEFA Headquarters, based in Nyon.

Milanโ€™s potential opponents in the Round of 32 are as follows:

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Krasnodar
๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Young Boys
๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Slavia Praha
๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Benfica
๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Braga
๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Granada
๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Real Sociedad
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Maccabi Tel Aviv
๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ชย Antwerp
๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Red Bull Salzburg
๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Wolfsberger AC
๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ Red Star Belgrade
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Dynamo Kyiv
๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท Olympiacos
๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด Molde

The reason there are not 16 potential opponents is because the Rossoneri cannot draw Lille, as they qualified from the same group.
