News of the protests from AC Milan fans against the club’s current ownership and leadership has made it around the world.
The final game of 2024-25 was less about excitement and optimism for Milan and more about anger. A dismal campaign was brought to an end under the San Siro lights, and the atmosphere was nothing short of toxic.

It started at 17:00 CEST when thousands of fans gathered at the club’s Casa Milan headquarters to protest, calling for the return of Paolo Maldini. Then, there was a further show of discontent after 15 minutes of the match as fans – the Curva Sud above all – led a mass walk-out.
