It would seem that AC Milan could actually sign one of Ruben Amorim’s former players this summer, despite other links going quiet.
The mercato is not slowing down for Milan, at least not any time soon. Indeed, the Rossoneri are continuing to work hard to improve Amorim’s squad, with his clear aims of dominating the league this season.

So, two more targets have now been linked to the club, in key positions.
Milan seek two Amorim targets
According to this morning’s edition of Il Giornale, via MilanNews, the Rossoneri are now looking at two players of interest to Amorim.
Firstly, he would like to make a move for Noussair Mazraoui, whom he coached during his time at Old Trafford. A versatile defender coming off the back of a great World Cup campaign, he certainly could help to finalise the Diavolo’s backline.
Then, he would also consider signing Ederson. Indeed, the Brazilian was a target for him during his time in the Premier League and it seemed he was heading to Manchester this summer. However, a deal has broken down and Amorim could pick up the pieces.
Atalanta have offered him an extension, but the lure of working with Amorim could alter the midfielder’s plans. Like the case with a potential move for Manu Kone, though, you’d imagine sales would need to occur for anything to happen.
