After signing Goncalo Ramos, AC Milan were probably done signing strikers, with Francesco Camarda and Andrej Kostic impressing. However, it may change.
At the start of pre-season, Milan’s striker department seemed a little overfilled. You had Santiago Gimenez, Christopher Nkunku, Francesco Camarda, Andrej Kostic and, of course, Goncalo Ramos. So, some trimming was needed and it was likely.

Kostic and Camarda were battling for the back-up role in the attack – a battle which Camarda won – and Gimenez has been likely to leave for some time now.
Three to attack the season
So, as we come to late August, things are starting to have a bit more order. Nkunku can leave, then; as of this afternoon, Kostic has left on loan. For Gimenez, an exit is likely to happen at some point, but the move to Porto has been halted.
Now Alessandro Jacobone has stated on X that another striker may still arrive this summer, with the department now looking a little weak, even.
“With the departure of Kostic, and even more so after the upcoming one of Gimenez, the Rossoneri will seek a striker who can form with Ramos and Camarda the pool of top forwards necessary to tackle the season.
“There is the awareness of not being able to afford to hope that the Portuguese player doesn’t even catch a cold all year long, nor to think of shifting the responsibilities of the Rossoneri attack onto the shoulders of the young Camarda.”
Yeah we need a good deputy. If Ramos gets injured, it will cost us points. Camarda simply is not good enough (yet), or at least not as a target man, which is what Amorim-ball requires. That is why I do not understand why we did not keep Kostic, who is a target man, and send out Camarda on loan rather.

He wants someone like Haaland Gyokeres Kane Lewandowski Marcus Thuram type of player one who runs who’s tall who’s athletic who can score (ofc) who can push to win the ball back who can provide even an assist. Basically a combination of ST and CF together.

There’s literally zero demand for him. I think Lazio may have mentioned him once…. Broken record or not, there’s a reason no clubs are after him, even ones desperate for a striker.
We have to sign someone, you should acknowledge that what we have and what we possess right now simply doesn’t suffice i.e. doesn’t meet our needs. It is what it is, if they come up with a better solution in the end, even better.

Soule and Icardi are not foreign players, you have to think about that condition and rule as well. I would like Bernardo Silva or Arda Gulet as a right #10 but that’s not quite possible. Finally, I don’t want to pay juventus for anyone except for maybe Bremer, he can be taken into consideration.
Icardi has the same emotional issues that Leao has. We do not want that kind of extra baggage.

You do not need a freaking third striker if you play with just one upfront. What is he going to do, polish the boots?
