This summer, AC Milan could make a move for Ismael Kone, who appears to be a big target for the midfield and their pursuit may have gotten easier.
In the last week, Milan have become almost infatuated with the idea of signing Kone from Sassuolo. The Canadian has been compared to Adrien Rabiot and after a fine performance against the Rossoneri at the weekend, the links became more tangible.
Even before seeing his performance, Igli Tare confirmed that he was an option for the summer when speaking to the press. So, it is likely that his game only confirmed that appreciation further.
Milan could use Kone release clause
There have been a few questions about the feasibility of the deal since, with his price not accurately discussed. However, that has now changed. This afternoon, Fabrizio Romano reported that there is a release clause in his deal and it may change the picture.
“Ismael Kone has a €35m release clause in his contract at Sassuolo.
“It’s valid until the end of July with several clubs keen in Italy – as AC Milan director Tare also confirmed, and also in UK.”
For €35 million, it seems an expensive deal. So, whether the Diavolo will take the bait is something else entirely.

Bondo/Fofana hybrid for 35 millions🔥
I don’t know, but I think he’s overrated though.
Just get Bernardo Silva and Goretzka/Kovacic.
