MN: ‘Turning point for the season’ – Milan show maturity with performance against Inter

A lot of praise has been given to AC Milan recently, and for good reason, too. The Rossoneri are in fine form, and Sunday’s win was further proof of that fact.

In the past few weeks, Milan hit a bit of a lull, drawing three of their last five games. They have always remained in the title picture. However, a slip was noticeable, and if it continued, dropping two points regularly would catch up.

On Sunday, though, the Rossoneri had no reason to be worried. Of course, there were a few moments of nervousness. But the grand scheme of the game was positive, especially in the second period.

For MilanNews, it was a derby ‘at its best’. The Diavolo showed a level of maturity which could kickstart a turning point of the season; from Champions League ambitions to Scudetto contenders – an inescapable tag after another win against a top team.

It was a win with character, which the report credits to Massimiliano Allegri’s whose blueprint is being seen more regularly with this team. A perfect strategy performed as he would have dreamed, for the most part.

Tough to beat and compact, Allegri’s vision is now in line with his Milan team. They know how to navigate difficult games – and more so, difficult moments – using them to strengthen in periods of difficulty.

One of the biggest hurdles for the Rossoneri in recent years has been that. The ability to win and overcome trouble. Yet now, it seems like a skill ingrained in them, thanks to Allegri.

But after recovering Puli I trust we can squeeze past any team we face
