AC Milan will bolster their Primavera shortly with the signing of Alex Castiello from Atalanta, according to a report.

There has been a lot of scope about the senior transfers recently, as expected. However, Milan must not get lost in the present, and also keep an eye on the future. So, it is no surprise that they have taken the chance to sign a well-thought of Italian youngster.

According to Fabrizio Romano this afternoon, the Rossoneri have signed Castiello from La Dea, and the 18-year-old striker, born in 2007, will put pen to paper on a deal this evening. It is believed that he will go straight to the Primavera.

Furthermore, the journalist writes that he will sign a three-year deal with the Diavolo until 2028, when he will be 21. Though the deal also has an option to extend included, offering Milan insurance on his future.

If nothing else, the striker could serve as a chance to make money in the years to come, as an Italian national. However, he could also be leading the line for the Rossoneri if he progresses far enough.

With the Futuro relegated to Serie D, it will be intriguing to see how his development is handled, considering the failings made with Francesco Camarda this season.

  1. The issue is Kirovski is still around. He has no business being in charge of such a project. He should have been the first to be sacked at the end of the season.
