Another major source has confirmed that AC Milan will soon complete the signing of Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain.
After 24 hours of building momentum regarding the links, The Athletic stated on Friday afternoon that Milan and PSG had agreed terms regarding the transfer of Ramos. The figures of the deal were not disclosed, though it was mentioned that the striker did a medical in the USA.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has tweeted the following update: “Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan, here we go! Deal agreed between the clubs and on player side.
“Club record signing for AC Milan, breaking Leão record as it was €50m – fee will be way in excess of this with add-ons. Deal also done on player side.”
A lightning operation
Given that the stories about negotiations between the Rossoneri and the Parisians only really surfaced on Thursday, it would be fair to commend Milan and their new management for getting this one over the line quickly.
Since the arrival of Ruben Amorim as the new head coach, it has been clear that Milan plan to sign a centre-forward functional to the coach’s 3-4-2-1 formation. The former Benfica man was among those linked from the start, but this blitz has taken a lot of people by surprise.
Ramos is 25 years old and is already a two-time Champions League winner, having won it back-to-back in Paris. He netted 41 goals in 131 appearances in the French capital but was largely a back-up, while with Benfica he scored 41 in 106 to earn him the move.

Genuinely would’ve just rather sticking with Camarda and Santi. The guy is ass
Yeah, stick with a player who has scored 1 goal in his professional career, from whom we’ve seen nothing but media hype based on what he did in the U15 and with a striker who scored ZERO goals last season.
So you prefer him leaving for any other club, get 10+ goals next season, get is market value go up by 20 million, read rumors about Milan wanting him back for 50 million and only then show your regrets?
Goodness me. Think next time, man.
Maybe you should read, process what you read, think and than start responding.
No one said that the overhyped Camarda should leave. The comment was that Milan should only stick with Camarda and Gimenez next season, 2 strikers who had 1 goal combined between each other this past season and not sign another striker.
Camarda has done nothing to justify him starting for any team in serie A let alone Milan. Gimenez can start for some teams in serie A but not Milan.
I don’t think that because I think that because that guarantee positives. I just spoke with the management poor to buy strikers is guaranteed negative
Straw man argument. Where did ue say he wants Camarda to leave? In any case, Camarda needs to be in Serie B. Does Pio Esposito not prove the point? We can’t entrust the offense to an 18 year old with no record. Meanwhile Gimenez is garbage. I’m not sure if Ramos is the answer, but something needed to happen.
Yea I would actually, that’s what Barca did with Yamal. Although I don’t think Camarda will be that level I’d bet on him to be elite. It’s because we don’t bet on these young players that Italy hasn’t qualified for three World Cup in a row. But that was only the reason I wanted to keep what we had. The other half is this match that show the complete inability to buy strikers and that’s been proven by this. I’m Portuguese and such. I’ve watched Portuguese league. I promise you, Ramos is not good. So the fact that we have to pay 50 million for him, let alone get them on a permanent deal just show stupidity to me. Let’s be honest Malan is probably gonna be shit next season, so I’d rather take a risk. I’ll set us up long-term and stay in limbo for another year wasting money
Playing CF is a totally different proposition to playing on the wing. You can take a chance a raw teenager on the wing and still win games. Wingers don’t usually do the heavy lifting. Yamal had Lewandowski. Leao had Ibrahimovic when he arrived as a raw 20 year old, then Giroud. Leading the attack is a totally different proposition. No top 4 aspiring club is starting an 18 with no record of scoring goals at the highest level. He can maybe backup Ramos, but he should be starting in Serie B, just like Pio Esposito.
Are you really serious, are you even a Milan fan?,
Santi doesn’t even make the Mexico starting line up, he gets like 5 minutes at the end and you want him to spearhead our attack!
Are you part of those Indian tech teams that are paid that are paid to troll, because you are giving off those vibes
No. I just understand that
A. A big reason a Italian football gone down is because we don’t trust young players
B. I’m Portuguese and I’ve watched this guy play a lot. The only reason Ronaldo stars is because he’s so poor.
C. I don’t trust this management to buy strikers. They have a clear track record of overpaying and buying poor.
D. We’re probably not gonna be very good next year anyway so I gotta take a rest and then be in striker limbo again.
Well we all know why Ronaldo starts, that’s not even up for debate and it definitely has nothing to do with Gancalo
Is
It not a new management, is that not what has been happening for the last few weeks
How can you right our season of before a ball has been kicked
Italian players, it is the greedy Italian club owners who have insane valuation of Italian players that they price them out such as Palestra erc
Racist much Mr Bilaal?
Hi O Bo, Santi scored zero goals last season….Just in case you were on a different planet.
IMO he is not convincing enough, though still clearly better than any CF that Milan had last season.
There is no striker I think of out there who is young enough, capable enough, and available. I am hearing some insane numbers being thrown out there on X about how much was paid as well. It started as upwards of 50M euros, then Romano is saying it is 74M fixed & his wages are 7M. That is apocalyptic and a disaster for any Serie A team to pay one player unless he is a god in his position.
The prices nowadays make it impossible for Italian clubs to get what they need from the mercato. 74 mln is a lot for us, but nothing unusual for the EPL. I did not expect that the day would come that Aston Villa and Newcastle can spend more on a player than big Serie A clubs. lol
Let’s be positive, not trashing Milan always. We just got a striker from Europe best club.
Netted 41 goals in 131 appearances in the French capital…
A backup…
50+million…
My god…
a back up to a balon dor winner doesnt seem ridiculous tbh
Netted 41 goals in how many minutes? You are disqualified from intelligent discussion when you don’t understand some basic concepts.
We are so cooked bruh.
Why God Milan Deserves these Idiots to run the team Like This?
Optics, optics, optics, a statement transfer. Amorim and Ramos, “no pressure” at all…
idk now why people like milan backed amorim i mean if he fails they would blame amorim asap and fire him so they will use him as a scapegoat so they wouldnt get criticize by fans and media so they like doing that???
Yes, they like doing that, they like going and hiding behind other people.
This conversation is hurting my brain. Like listening to 2 ret&rds going back and forth, telling each other how right they are.
So it’s either ownership is cheap and they won’t spend. Then they complain that they spend too much.
Then it’s management won’t support the coach by getting the players that he wants. Then if they get the manager the players he wants , then they are just doing it for optics so they can blame the coach.
Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound?
90% of the commenters on this site are just angry little trolls that are unhappy with their lives so they come here to vent and complain about literally everything.
90% of the commenters on this site are just followers who cant criticize anything and just follow the crowd without having their own opinion so they come here just to socialise with people to find someone who agrees with them
is it ridiculous team needs depth and they spend him and nkunku 92 mill sure its nice to back amorim but u have to be sure for the investment not just spend cash uncontrollable , and do u care that if he fails they will use amorim as a scapegoat?
prolly not bc u and 90% see being a fan of specific club as a hobby. if they wanna spend they can found 1.000 players with less money so they can at least provide amorim with a complete team so he can rotate if he needs to do that something they didnt do for exp coach like Allegri
you are a sheep dont ever follow football anymore
“prolly not bc u and 90% see being a fan of specific club as a hobby.”
This is exactly the problem. People who have no life whatsoever so their entire life revolves around “supporting” a football club that they have no control over whatsoever. So they get angry and bitter and go online and rage and complain about everything.
Sports is entertainment. If you are not making decisions or working for the club guess what it is…it’s a hobby. Get a life.
You are so plain/shallow it’s beyond comprehension.
as a fan u can at least have an opinion you are the most ignorant “fan” on this site if u see it as a hobby and cant have a proper/your own opinion leave this site never comment here again. a fan has his own opinion for anything his club decides not be a follower . u see an announcement u tell ur opinion . the follower tends to just agree/dont mind any decision and just get passed with no thought for any opinion is it good decision is it bad . sorry a** people like u tend to have no pinion bc i guess u cant think for urself and just get passed it. so dont ever comment on something u clearly dont care
90% of the commenters? You literally write without punctuation clown. You think you can use your brain and critically think? While not being able to learn how to use .,?!. Stfu re*ard. You’re a halfwit.
That is usually the case with any manager who isn’t getting results. The supposed structure is set up so the management targets those players that best assist Amorim. So this is supposedly one of his choices. Roman is saying it is 74M fixed and 7M in wages. I feel that is abuse but u cannot tell that the coach isn’t backed if this player was a choice of the coach and the club paid that much.
Check Romano’s X account, he posted these numbers which is frightening to read that figure.
Players in general are expensive.
Milan is investing in central forward to cover that position.
If Romano said price is 50 million, than probably bonuses are related to numbers players score and achieving next year ucl.
On 5 years deal ammortisation is 10 million which is 3 million more than Gimenez ammortisation.
Probably we can expect sale of Santi, but for capital gain. No need to sell him for below price like De Ketelaere.
they will be no capital gain for gimenez same as CDK.
yh alright players are exp but how many deals u think they will do after 55m potentially 70m will disappear?
the team needs deoth if they wanna do 3 4 2 1 and 3 4 1 2. and they dont have that for like 3 seasons.
and if they signed more how many are gonna be for the future and not some washed up nobody for free or on loan?
If you sell Gimenez for 20 million there is no capital gain. If you sell for 35 there is around 15….
I read that Cardinale want to invest 200 million plus millions from players sale…
Now that is possible and manageable even without huge capital gain.
But will it happen?
First we need to see is Milan going to be profitable after 2025 2026 season.
If yes there is possible to heavily invest. Because Milan in 2026 27 season can finish with loss covered by owner.
Or… he can sell for profit before July 2026 a star player for big capital gain and keep balance on profit.
Definitely owner can invest heavily because players are expensive. If they going to sell Fofana they will not sell.him below 30, that’s 20 plusvalenza.
Third option is selling Gimenez in like DE Ketelaere style, you save 12 million on cost side. 12 + 5 of leaving Origi, you have 17 million of space – that is how much Ramos going to cost in terms of gross salary and ammortisation.
So there is definitely room for new players.
It seems that with Ramos, everyone expects Pulisc and Nkunku behind him which make space for Leao sales.
If for example they sell Leao for only 50 million that’s 39 million in plusvalenza.
Milan was buying players smartly. Yes they lost results but value on market only loss Bennacer because of big injury, and they pushed De Ketelaere only because of positve balance sheet which is not necessary to have untill 30th of June 2026.
So… there is definitely room for Milan to invest 150 million of more. But of course sales will make space for new arrivals.
i can agree with ur opinion but we will have to wait and see . but my faith on them are low. and even if they spend are they gonna be quality signings? idk like i said i dont have much faith on them
It is easy to think and understand.
Milan is profitable club without results. Inter is profitable club with high achieved result – UCL final.
That means Milan have a lot of space to experimenting with transfers and squad.
Buying and selling does not mean you will get the result. But target buying means that you might reach that specific target- for example profitable club.
What that means ? It means in terms of trying and failing, you reach combination for success and on the target of the result.
They will sell, we will see and they will buy more. We dont know if Ramos is going to be better than Leao amd Pulisic like last year but that will sell tickets definitely.
What Red Bird do is only circulating the money. Money spend on bought player is not wasted money. It is investment in asset. That asset can again by future sale make club profit, if not the result. Here money is only circulating…
Just like last year.
They profit on Hernandez sale 22 million, to get Bartesaghi value now at least the same 22 million.
Club didn’t lost anything. Bartesaghi needed to play for his price go rocket high…
Club only lost result because Bartesaghi cant score and assist like Hernandez.
But. Red Bird buying players should not be big surprise…..
Fabrizio Romano gave this update on WhatsApp regarding the agreement reached between AC Milan and PSG for Gonçalo Ramos , who will be a new Rossoneri player: “There is a complete agreement between both parties, therefore both with PSG and with the player, who has already undergone a medical in secret in the United States. There was an offer on the table from the Parisians that was accepted today.
It will be a record purchase for Milan, as it will certainly exceed the €50 million paid to acquire Leao from Lille. Milan will pay almost €70 million, including bonuses. Amorim’s new striker will therefore be Gonçalo Ramos.”
I can’t believe you, man, this is how you should have reported, reveal the whole truth and all the details…
We also can’t believe you exist and you’re that special but here we are. Or as Romano would say Here we go!
Missed your morning therapy again? Who rattled your cage?
Great news! Amorim got the center forward he wanted. He’s a goalscorer and hes been training daily with the best team in the world, and one of the best coaches in the world. Hes not gotten worse at PSG. Lets support him and wait with the judgement until january.
Camarda and Gimenez as backup to Ramos will be a sold center forward lineup. Nkunku and Pulisic behind him, hopefully joined by Trincao.
Hjulmand, Trincao and Silva next? ^^
Awesome player!!
Welcome to Milan ❤️🖤
now sign Brahim Diaz and Kang-in Lee with Leao money. only positions left are LWB and CB; maybe even upgrade on Tomori.
Zalewski, Gila/Lucumi and most likely one of his old players for CB from sporting
You are probably talking for someone to be the sub of Bartesaghi , because you can’t just send Bartesaghi in the bench is the future of milan and also had a very good season
Very good season, my ass.
MC?
Modric, Rabiot, Jashari, Ricci, Fofana…
defense has final holes to cover, whilr attack reconstructed entirely. only midfield and GK are fine, so why break something while it works?
Modric is not a certainty, Rabiot could join Napoli and at least one of Fofana/Ricci/Ardon is going to be sold IMO.
Congratulations. Amorim asked for Ramos and Cardinale got him. This shows from the top to the bottom , they are all working together for same focus. This is what makes me happy most about this deal. Finally, there is no division in the club. The price? It is another matter entirely determine by market forces and AGENTS. The most important thing is Amorim got his priority and the club support him 100%.
Welcome Ramos. Forza Milan
Now that’s one monumental statement. Don’t listen to the naysayers here. This is a striker proven at the highest levels in a high pressure team. Not a gamble.
About time.
it is a gamble.
a gamble like nkunku
No. It’s not.
WTH are you rambling about?
Brilliant!
I bet Leao stays now. 😂
would rather get 70-80M from Rafa if Ramos is 55M…
Ramos is 74 plus bonuses, believe it or not…
On the left, on the right or down the middle, no matter where you play Dembele he is comfortable everywhere and performs well
That’s the real difference of Ballon d’or winner with merely just a potential winner who only performs in a single dimensional position. And even that, without consistency.
So? Is it related to the article or you’re again trying to push some of your re*arded opinions by writing random unrelated stuff? You really are special.
Gonçalo Ramos náo é titular pela seleção de Portugal e não têm jogado pela equipa do PSG, desta forma não pode ser opção para o Milan. Devemos apostar em Demirovic ou Nolan Jackson
Nolan LOL
Personally, I don’t think he’s worth 50m. But it’s not Milan’s problem. I’ll blame Premier league that have made cf too expensive with their money spree in the transfer market. Take Nicholas Jackson for example.
65+5
Actually, 74 million + bonuses.
There is report that Cardinale want to invest 200 million plus millions of players sales for nExt Mercato.
A complete strong n9. Maybe not exceptional in anything, but with no weaknesses. He is a great finisher, strong with the head, good tecnique, good build-up play Probably the best you can buy on the market for AC Milan.
I don’t get the complaints.
The amount here is staggering. I’m happy to see Ramos come in but feels like we’ve paid about double. At least he’ll be in the building early for pre…… oh wait, no, he’ll be at the WC
Thats some fine transfer indeed and a good omen for the next season.
Now Fabrizio says its 74 mil fixed fee plus bonuses.
That’s crazy. I hope it’s not true because they are paying double than what his fee should be.
A player who scored 15 in portugal barely 10 in france annually, I fear that number will be even smaller in Italy. 75+ million is a huuge gamble
Now please clean this house of deadwood and those who want to leave as next step – Tomori, Odogu, Estupinan, RLC, Musah, Bennacer, Bondo, Fofana, Chukwueze, Leao, Gimenez.
You forget the most useless of them all…Ricci and Jashari…Both were far more useless then the players you’ve listed.
Ok
Why is Fofana a deadwood?
He’s a quality player. Let’s not forget that he was trained by the best coach in the world right now. This is a huge upgrade and he’ll do much better than Gimenez. Price wise, perhaps too much, but it is what it is. We have money to spend. Let’s give him a chance and see how he does. Welcome and good luck!
Overpriced for a player with 41goals in 131 games
And now Romano wrote 74mil fixed fee plus bonus? Wow. If it’s anyhing, we shouldn’t pay more on what PSG paid on Ramos with him never being a regular starter. His book value is now around 30 mil ish, so PSG will earn double for their substitute striker. What a deal.
On the last 3 seasons, he scored the same amount of goals with Vlahovic. Do remember that Dusan spent most of last season injured. And their age is basically the same. One you can get for ‘free’ and already have significant experience in Serie A. Not saying that he’s better. But c’mon.
All in all, what a master stroke by no other than Jorge Mendes.
” we shouldn’t pay more on what PSG paid on Ramos”
PSG paid 65M€ + 15M€ in potential bonuses. With them winning the league, CL and more I’m sure most of those bonuses conditions were met and he cost 75 or 80M€ in total.
My knowledge of the player is somewhat limited so I can’t really judge it but considering he has only played for teams that are either dominating their leagues or are the top of the teams it doesn’t really looks like that he is very prolific in front of goal.
There are various reports suggesting that the fee actually is somewhat higher than fifty mil LIKE 65+5 OR 70+5. That seems rather excessive but what do I know.
He is valued at 30mil and is a bench warmer. Even 50mil is seriously overpaying.
😀 Well well well that seems pretty crazy then.
50+M ?? lol
Try 74+
are you serious..
overpaid by more than double for a club & country benchwarmer whos stats are below average
this guy gives me andre silva vibes (remember him)
why not use all this for a proven serie a hitman in osimehn?
this is what happens when you dont have an internal structure. no TD, no SD
They have a structure, it’s just not very good. It’s another bunch of randos. They needed directors and a SD that prioritised looking in Serie A and moved away from buying rejects.
fair point
in other words, these randos are just a bunch of yes men
also, i dont like jorge mendes role in this. seems like he is acting as a scout and agent for the owner and obviously only pushing his clients
Anyone is an improvement over Gimenez.
Great, he is a beast
To everyone judging, Donnie Maleen was a bench warmer at Villa, wasn’t a starter at Borrusia came to serie A put the best numbers in his entire Career in half a season at Roma. It could pay off finger cross.
a bit of too expensive. but may be Amorim knows what is he doing.
Exactly. They overpaid approximately 40 mln euro.
PSG wouldn’t sell him for 40M€. It is the most stupid statement. You can’t “overpay” in the real sense of the word if someone isn’t selling for a lower price in the first place?
So because of Krosche, instead of Glasner and Mateta we’ve got the most embarrassing coach from the EPL, Amorim and a luxury sub who looks like Frankenstein. I hope they have some good ideas on how to balance the books because if this season is a disaster, it could set us back years.
“it could set us back years.”
We’re already set back years.
I want to make it in positive way…so I welcome Goncalo Ramos and also Ruben Amorim as a coach-manager.
Lets wake up this Milan, and get Milan on the winning track again.
His all time numbers are quite good, he has a goal contribution every 108 minutes. In total in his career. Giroud 127 minutes, S.Gimenez 127 minutes, Lautaro Martinez 115 minutes and so on.
Almost a goal or assist per game. In his total stats. People compare him to Origi and say he is bad. You’re id*ots. Open a stats website and look at the numbers he has and minutes he played. Wow, he was a bench warmer in PSG that has 100M+ players in attack. And 3 of them, next year it will be 4 or 5. They will replace him with a top striker. Before they bought Ekitike for 50M and kept him on the bench, how did he do at Eintracht and now Liverpool? If Milan signed Ekitike you’d say the same stupid sh*t. It is because you are stupid, not because of the player. If you don’t like him that is cool, but writing lies is proof you’re a halfwit.
And I forgot to mention the Nico Paz comparison. No halfwits, Como did not pay 60M, but 51M€ since Real Madrid first had to buy him back for 9M€.
But, Real Madrid has an 80M€ buyback clause. THAT WAS THE CONDITION TO SELL TO COMO. If Como refused they would have sold him on the market and got more money. This way they are basically loaning him to Como and paying 20M€ for his development (if they resign him). Is that so hard to understand? It seem none of you get it, it is incredible. There is 7 million articles about this transfer.
