AC Milan are looking to add another reinforcement with high potential as the signing of Parma midfielder Chaka Traoré is close, according to a report.
According to the latest from ParmaLive, Traore is edging towards a move to Milan as he was not called up for the preseason retreat of Enzo Maresca’s first team, or for the Primavera’s start of training. Parma tried several times to renew his deal, but Traore has twice rejected the proposals put forward both from the old and the new management.
He and his entourage have been in contact with Milan for some time and after being initially hesitant, he has given his approval to the Rossoneri with whom he found an agreement in principle just this weekend. Parma will get around €1m for the 16-year-old’s sale.
Nicolo Schira also reports that Milan have agreed terms with the young midfielder, who actually made his Serie A debut against Milan last season.
