AC Milan have an eye on who could be their centre-forward for the future and two names stand out above all, according to a report.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a great desire to continue with Milan beyond the end of the season and earn himself a renewal as he continues to defy those who doubt him because of his age.
However, the Milan management also know that they do not currently have a long-term option in the squad with the exception of Marko Lazetic who has limited senior minutes, which is why Maldini and Massara are scanning the international market in search of a young striker who can grow alongside Ibrahimovic before taking the baton.
The profiles that most excite the directors are Jonathan David of Lille and Alexander Isak of Real Sociedad, who is a compatriot of Ibra and his team-mate in the national team.
DEADLINE DAY LIVE: Announcement of signing expected; late €25m deal falls through
We can’t afford Isak! His buyout clause is $75m and we di not have the cash to deal on such transaction.
