Journalist claims versatile Spurs forward is an option for Milan at a ‘favourable price’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to make at least one signing for their attack this upcoming summer ahead of the new season, and a new name has reportedly emerged.

Carlo Laudisa spoke on Carlo Pellegatti’s YouTube channel (via MilanNews) and he discussed potential options for the summer transfer window in particular regarding the attacking department, suggesting that a reinforcement could arrive from the Premier League.

He claims that in the last few hours the candidacy of Dutch forward Steven Bergwijn has emerged as an option for Milan, given that the former PSV Eindhoven man is not playing very much at Tottenham under Antonio Conte.

Bergwijn can play on both the right and left wings and can even be used as a centre-forward if needed, and he could be available for a ‘favourable price’ given that he is being used little. This season, the 24-year-old has 3 goals and 2 assists in 18 appearances across all competitions.

  1. Milan can’t buy players just because they’re on “sale”, this is a serious institution, we’re not talking about buying a new brand of soap in the supermarket. Bergwijn has very little to bring to the table for Milan right now and he’s very injury prone too.
