TMW: Milan have three midfield targets while defence could remain unchanged

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still looking to sign a defender and a midfielder before the window closes, with a list of targets being considered, a report claims.

According to a report from TMW, Raphael Onyedika of FC Midtjylland and Albert Sambi Lokonga of Arsenal are the hottest names for the midfield department, while Pape Matar Sarr of Tottenham is behind them because Spurs only want to let him leave on a dry loan.

In terms of a new centre-back, Milan are considering Abdou Diallo of PSG, who is ahead of Japhet Tanganga for whom Spurs want an obligation to buy inserting as part of any potential loan operation.

Therefore, it is not excluded that in the end Milan might just remain as they are with Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori, Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia, who might remain and thus not join Sampdoria on loan as is currently being considered.
