According to MilanNews, after the final whistle the team headed straight for their transportation and returned to Milan overnight. Not only that, but a training session is scheduled for this morning at Milanello.
As usual, the players who started and came off the bench will perform a warm-down session, while those who didn’t take part in the match will do a full session. As a reminder, the next game is on Saturday evening at San Siro against Udinese.
The team will have to immediately respond after the disappointing defeat at the Maradona Milan now sit in third place, with Champions League qualification once again in doubt and the Scudetto dream having faded.
There is still a six-point gap to fifth place, but with Juventus on a roll it is necessary to return to winning ways in order to not let the pressure build too much.
