Dusan Vlahovic remains the name that has the highest approval rating inside the offices of Casa Milan, according to Matteo Moretto.
As we approach the end of the summer window, there is still no striker signing imminent for Milan. Rasmus Hojlund has been linked in recent days, though there seems to be some doubts about whether he will give the green light, especially with competition from Napoli now to contend with.

The sporting director Igli Tare spoke to Mediaset before kick-off in the Coppa Italia round of 32 against Bari at San Siro on Sunday night. He was asked about Hojlund but also about Vlahovic, confirming that both can still be considered options.
‘Constant contact’
Matteo Moretto spoke about Milan’s striker pursuit in a video published on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel and he focused on Vlahovic, who remains the No.1 name.

“Today I want to focus on a name for Milan’s attack, the one that everyone agrees on, the favourite of the entire Milan management for quality, characteristics and desire for revenge, namely that of Dusan Vlahovic,” he began (via MilanNews).
“There is constant contact between the parties. Milan sporting director Igli Tare is personally working to maintain contact with both the player’s entourage and Juventus.
“We’ll see in the coming days if the deal becomes feasible in terms of costs, but Milan are doing a significant job of closing in on Vlahovic. It must be said that Milan is also keeping other options alive, as is only right.”

“Milan sporting director Igli Tare is personally working to maintain contact with both the player’s entourage and Juventus.”
Well that is what he is supposed to do? 🙂
His qualities as a player can be debated, but not the fact that he is an economic liability for Gobbo di Merda and is poisonous in the dressing room.
Why help a direct competitor with THAT?
Watch the highlights of the Juve Atalanta friendly Vlahavic scores and a few guys give him a small pat on the back. It was the weakest reaction to a goal I have seen. He is clearly not liked by his squad. Right now the culture at Milan is really good…is Dusan going to be part of that? Or a sour apple.
It is just friendly game, still normal. His idol are ibra , he wont causing problem infront ibra. The big problem are his 12m euro nett salary from juve this season
Actually the biggest problem is his first touch and how he has the pace of the average centre back
100%… just like Santi. And can’t play with his back to goal.
He is a good attacker, sure, but not more than that.
You comment on his salary; lets say he is willing to half that, then he earns 6 million and will be among the best paid on the team. How will the rest of the team react to that? If he score +25 goals no problem, if he dosen’t = problems.
Why on Earth should we take that financial risk?
Why should we risk an upset the dressing room?
Let Gobbo di Merda keep their problem
Why? Because he is the best striker currently in the market (or, the least bad one). I understand your concerns regarding his salary and the locker room and I share them but others have bigger downsides. With his idol Ibra and his mentor Allegri at Milan, I think he will behave.
It is just too big a risk to take, when you simultaneous solve a problem for a direct competitor.
But since he isn’t in Juve’s plans we taking him won’t change their lineup. Worse was shipping Kalulu to them, who then became a starter. Taking Vlahovic for them will solve the financial part for them of his salary but if we don’t take him, somebody will anyway. It’s actually good that Vlahovic is mad at them because he’ll make a bigger effort for us to stay ahead of them on the table. It’s them sending a good player to a rival, not us sending them one like Kalulu. That was dumb because Kalulu can play right back fairly well and we never got a good RB to replace him. We got that bum Royal, thank God we finally got rid of him. We got Akhetame but he’s young and not used to Serie A like Kalulu was. So we taking Vlahovic from them is a bit of revenge; let’s hope the deal concludes and Vlahovic scores for us against them. Preferably after dribbling Kalulu, LOL
You guys have never been in a dressing room, and it shows.
Which problem? So you think Juventus spending 20M on him is such a huge issue? Milan spent that amount on Origi. Don’t see Milan falling apart financially? It is a minor issue, Juventus could bench him and keep him as revenge, wouldn’t be a big problem for them…
Hardly
We will end up signing Jackson I kmw for sure all this is just for public stunt Milan I kmw last minute of the transfer window we will only sign Jackson
He’s actually a good player although injury-prone and with discipline problems. But skill-wise he’s not bad.
Much worse is if we end up with Embolo.
+20mil to striker budget from Okafor’s sale and we’re still choosing between Vlahovic and Hojlund?
Now there are a few more teams int he frame for Hojland. Looks like Hojland has a few more solid options than he had a few days ago. Milan’s chances of closing that deal are likely over.
EXACTLY.
We sold 200M and only spent 100M
So then why are will STILL BARGIN HUNTING for the most important position on the pitch????
Says all we need to know about the motives of Redbird.
Sign Boniface AND Vlahovic AND swap Rabiot for Benny and sell Musah and get Kiwior AND we STILL have a positive NET transfer spend
Milan must try sign him because of coach…he know what dušan can play. If milan at the end go for another target then…i think hojlund will be ok….pavlidis too…and maybe leao’s desire kean….
We made mistake with thuram…he is soooo good profile for us
