MN: Milan still trying for D’Amico despite Tare’s situation – the ‘great soap opera’

Throughout the past few weeks, AC Milan have had an easy option available, and they have not taken it. Something which may haunt them in the future.

The sporting director picture opened with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gerry Cardinale visiting Igli Tare in London, and seemingly agreeing to work together moving forward. However, Giorgio Furlani did not agree with the decision and took control of the scene.

Now, the picture is the same, effectively. Tare is still the most likely candidate to arrive through the doors of Casa Milan, due to his work position, but Furlani seemingly has no intention of making the move, despite positive meetings taking place.

According to Milan News, the CEO is still trying to make a move for Tony D’Amico, who is the sporting director of Atalanta, even though they have already been denied. In the background, Tare remains a liked target, but not the ‘real objective’.

With each passing day, it seems more and more like a ‘great soap opera’, which needs to be ended, considering the work required this summer.

If D’Amico is impossible as the final target, then it will only reflect poorly on everyone, considering a significant amount of time has been wasted if Tare is eventually appointed.

  1. they dont know what Milan is doing its clear to see, they’ll run a new story everyday and see which sh*t sticks

  2. Lost time with Paratici and now with D’Amico. They should just announce they found a candidate among their ranks and promote Kirovski. That guy did his worst already on Futuro, so it’s only natural he’s promoted. You know, like Moncada after 250 millions wasted.
