Duvan Zapata has scored in his last three appearances against AC Milan and will be looking to continue his run tonight.
Torino have picked up some steam in the last few weeks, winning two of their last three, and are thus heading into the big clash against Milan in a good position. Roberto D’Avera took charge of the team a month ago almost to the day and now, it seems he has found the right path.
One player who has been important lately is Duvan Zapata, who at 33 years old and with so many Serie A goals under his belt is one of the most experienced players in the team. Indeed, he bagged a goal in the win against Lazio and in the win against Parma.
Worrying trend for Milan
The Colombian’s form is probably worrying Milan a little more as his record against the Rossoneri is truly great: 18 games, 8 goals and 3 assists. As if that wasn’t enough, he has scored in each of his last three outings against them, most recently in the reverse fixture.
Milan will thus have to keep a very close eye on Zapata, who probably will target Koni De Winter in the centre of the penalty box. The good news is that at least from open play (set pieces less so), Massimiliano Allegri’s men have been quite good in aerial duels.
