AC Milan know that they must make some investments to improve the attacking department ahead of next season and their radar is directed towards Belgium, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) it is Domenico Berardi who is the first choice target for the right wing role, but negotiating with Sassuolo will not be straightforward and that is why alternative options are being kept open.
Among these alternatives are two players who currently play for the same club in Belgium: 22-year-old winger Noa Lang and 20-year-old playmaker Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge.
Lang has 9 goals and 13 assists for the Belgian side this season and can play a multitude of attacking positions, while De Ketelaere can play either as a centre-forward or as an attacking midfielder and he has 18 goals and 9 assists. Both are likely to command a substantial asking price as a result of their exploits this season.
Pay the money for DeKaltere and stop dancing around the fact that we have no #10 right now. Kessie, Krunic, Diaz, Messias, and Maldini have all been tried there and failed miserably for any creativity or ability to score. Paqueta would’ve been the best solution until we let him go after forcing him to be a CAM or LM which was never his position of play or hasn’t been with Brazil. Invest the €30M to land him and let him flourish rather than watch us waste €15M on someone else and hope he works out to spend another €15M on another!

If Maldini can work out a good payment plan with Bruge and a sign them on low sapalry, then those are great assests that will appreciate in value.
Chuck is the best thing to happen in Belgium since KDB. 30-40 million is about a quarter of what he’ll be worth to a Prem side in 2027. I envy the squad that ends up with him.
