Tuttosport: Milan could be set for summer clear-out in attack – only Giroud is safe

AC Milan could be set to undergo big changes in the attacking department in the summer with only one player currently having a safe spot, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) explains that a revolution in the Rossoneri’s forward options is not excluded in the summer given the disappointing numbers that most of the attack have put up.

That excludes Olivier Giroud though, and the Frenchman will soon renew his deal for another year, while it also excludes Rafael Leao but he cannot even be guaranteed of a spot in the squad next season due to his contract situation.

The Portuguese forward will be sold if he does not renew to avoid the risk of losing him on a free in the summer of 2024, while Divock Origi and Ante Rebic could be sold and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future remains a question mark, as does that of Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias.
