AC Milan have once again been credited with an interest in signing midfielder Mattias Svanberg from Bologna.
According to Fichajes in Spain, the 23-year-old could leave this summer and there are a trail of teams keen on signing him such as both Manchester clubs, Tottenham, Juventus, Inter, Roma and Milan.
All are closely following Svanberg’s situation with Bologna given his current contract expires in 2023, so his departure could take place if an offer of around €15m were to arrive, even if the Rossoblu are currently wanting €20m.
Bologna signed Svanberg in 2018, paying a figure of €4.5m to land him, but after 9 goals and 7 assists in 115 games his value has over tripled.
He is certainly in the mould of being a modern midfielder given his versatility in terms of position but also the fact he is physical but possesses great technique too, meaning he would serve Stefano Pioli’s system well.
This guy would be an amazing Kessie upgrade in my opinion. He is good defensively and can actually pass.
If we’re running 2 mids still it’s a waste of funds. 3 mids, probably worth it.
If just 15m euro better sign him and forget Renato. He have small salary too compare Renato demand 5,5m euro/season
