Di Marzio: Milan open talks with PSG over potential loan deal for 29-year-old

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in the market for another goalkeeper after the signing of Devis Vasquez and have opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky (via MilanNews), Milan is looking for another goalkeeper after buying Vasquez from Paraguay, given that he is seen as more of a signing for the future than an immediate deputy to Mike Maignan, who continues to have injury complications.

The Rossoneri have begun discussions with PSG over Sergio Rico, the Spanish goalkeeper who is being kept third in the pecking order by the presence of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas.

Milan want a goalkeeper who is immediately ready and can help make up for Maignan’s absence, so they could opt for a loan deal until the end of the season as per the report, with further discussions expected over the potential operation in the coming hours and days.

  1. I thought they were referring to Icardi…
If he can stay off controversies, that is a world class striker right there.
