There could well be another transfer negotiation involving AC Milan that takes place in Belgium, as talks are on over Tolu Arokodare.
According to HLN, Milan have set their sights on Arokodare. The 24-year-old was the top scorer in the Jupiler Pro League last season, netting 17 times, and they claim that he ‘is (logically) open to a move to the Rossoneri’.

Initial contact has been made, and there is the distinct possibility that he could become ‘Genk’s next multi-million pound sale’. It is ‘written in the stars’ that the Nigerian international will leave the Cegeka Arena this summer and move to a more prestigious league.
‘Eager to make the move’
Premier League sides Fulham and Burnley have already made inquiries, but according to sources HLN have access to, Milan now approached Genk for their prized forward. Tolu himself is ‘eager to make the move’.

Genk are willing to consider their options, too. They had an agreement with the striker but also wants top dollar for their top scorer, who scored 21 times last season across all competitions. Initial contact has been made.
Sander Berge, at €25m (to Sheffield United in 2020), is still the Limburg club’s most expensive outgoing but it is ‘quite possible that the club record will be broken’.
Tolu joined Genk from French club Amiens in January 2023 for €5m and is under contract until mid-2027. He’s not the only striker linked with Milan, however: the report names Victor Boniface (formerly of Union SG, now Leverkusen) as being on their radar.

from Boniface and Vlahovic to this rando
now this is my good old Milan, lmao
Boniface and Vlaovic were ransoms too, 2 seasons ago Boniface was playing for Union SG, everybody is a random at the end of the day. Another pisser and moaner, you would probably be one of the guys moaning when we signed Sheva, Serginho, Gattuso, and Pirlo, all a bunch of randoms. Stfu.
Rabiot , Mukau, Arokodare and stop!
Guy played one good season in weak Belgian league, and suddenly makes a hop to Milan for 25 mil EUR?
Chance of him becoming a top player at Milan are really slim. Milan really could do better. We need assurance of quality, not another question mark.
Logical next step for this guy is to be acquired by some Fiorentina for 10-15mil, get proven in Serie A, and then, maybe, eventually, get a transfer to club like Milan. This just feels bad from the start…
yeah its either this, … or he explodes and next season half of the forum says our management are idi.ots to not have taken the opportunity.
the good thing in all this is, that scouts and SDs usually spend more than 5 mins before they judge a player and i’m pretty confident that they know what they are doing
Oh yes our scouts know exactly what they’re doing by signing guys like Emerson and passing on Retegui….
Our scouts got Reijnders for 20m too…
One successful signing out of how many attempts? We get more shit than stars with our current transfer policy, transfers like Emerson’s completely undoes the good work, one brilliant signing cancelled out the worst signing iv seen this year. He couldn’t even cut it at a weaker team in spurs
They did also sign Reijnders, Tonali, Leao, Theo, Jimenez, Fofana, Maignan, and other very good players that ended up being great after they left Milan. The scouting crew is not the problem.
I would agree to this… scouting isn’t the issue, not completing the starting 11 is… they just spread money on shit ton of players, when right now before signing N9, we should focus on fullbacks…
LB and RB signing after Jashari is gonna be key…
there is a huge difference going for Udogie, Hato, Calafiori and Archie Brown (not Nathaniel, he’s lowkey good), Zinchenko and Firpo…
Dodo/Vanderson/Wesley and Doue/Pubil… how are these even a discussion?
Yeah and at the same time they got Terraciano, Musah, Chukuwedze, Jovic, Abraham or Okafor.
And please, putting Jimenez in the list of “good players” is really a big stretch 😉 also with Theo, it was not really a random player, he came from Real Madrid. Fofana also didn’t show anything special tbh.
Only truly good scouting work was done on the 3: Reijnders, Maignan and Leao.
Getting players like the mentioned in news is also a big gamble. Can he develop to be a top player? Yes, but there’s maybe 5% chance of this. Milan needs quality now, not another gamble.
what’s wrong with Theo, Tonali and Jimenez lmao… even Allegri said he would have important role
Theo was considered washed until he came to us… and Fofana is a solid all-rounder… he’s not as flashy as Tiji, so what??? and the guy wasn’t rested properly at all until he got burnout… he and Tiji were only normal midfielders we had
Most of those players were Maldini work. We saw are scouting team without Maldini.
No team gets all their transfers right. Especially in serie a were the spending power isn’t as strong as the premier league
Brugge want 40m for a midfielder after one good season…
Victor Osimhen played in Belgium and was quoted 12M but we did not pay, I remembered Maldini considered it at the time. he went to Lille and exploded. I have seen this guy play and I will take a chance on him. Not sure for how much though.
I understand you are a Nigerian….
And being a Milan fan Tolu quality is not a player for a club like Milan.
He should go Fulham, Bretford Southampton to have his trade there or maybe Lille, Torino and all
What you’re saying does not convince me, Nationality is out here. If he is good, he fits in. Jovic was best in Germany but flopped in Spain…
Vlahovic was best in Fiorence but never live in expectation in Juve… Retegui survived in Atalanta.
He could be tested as others
Yeah, everyone is an expert after the fact.
If we really combine every transfer rumour, we will probably have 500 players linked with Milan in the past. It’s easy work to just pick up one of the 500 that was good, right?
Let’s also not forget about simple fact, that Osimhen in Lille had space to play and develop. I can imagine him coming to Milan, getting barely a few chances, flopping, and then ending up on loans to Fiorentina or other Cremonese.
Moncada scouting….😂😂😂😂
If Milan had gone on to sign jashari for 6mil euros, the same amount club brugge paid for him last season, this would have still been your response
Now that’s a surprise. He’s 1.97m tall. Does score plenty. Been linked with other teams. Could be interesting upfront. We will see
He’s too soft and flexible even than Santi Geminez.
Belgium league is not Seria A. I would rather call Jovic back then to sign Tolu.
Mind you I’m a Nigerian but he’s not the type of player Milan really need.
Napoli will accept 60k for Oshimen and he will be willing to lower his 12m salary to some certain amounts.
No advertisement we all know number of goals he will get us. Pace aerial duel. Box 18 presence, shooting accuracy
Just name it
And do you think Napoli would be willing to sell to direct rival considering the feud on ground? I don’t feel they will want to sell him to a local rival.
So let me get this straight…Top scorer in the league can be had for 25m but we have to fork over 40m for Jashari??
Arokodare is the top scorer in the league.
Jashari is the best player in the league.
So? After one season with 7 goal contributions Jashari was the “best” this season. Doesn’t warrant a 80% higher transfer fee.
I am not saying that either one is worth the money their clubs want for them. I’m just giving you context why one of them would be more expensive than the other.
I understand. “Best” player can be subjective. Top scorer means top scorer. The gulf between the two should not be so massive based on the stats IMO. To be fair I’ve not watch a minute of either.
24.5 be seemed fair … If there we can’t reach out Noslin
Topscorer in Belgium, nearly two meters tall… sounds interesting ngl
I see our scouts have moved on from France to Belgium.
Don’t know who this is but Romano just reported that milan are close to archie brown. Very similar play style to theo and can defend. He looks very promising!!
I have no idea who he is, but I’d rather Milan took a chance on an unknown player than wasting money on old man Boniface, there’s no way he’s 29, the painfully slow Vlahovic or the Emerson of strikers, Jackson.
Apparently he’s 24, also he was going through an injury last season so maybe he would be more athletic with us.
If they believe in him and allegri does know and want him jashari and Archie Brown go ahead and buy if they all agreed to these players go ahead. Just hoping they will learn sooner or later if these are the right moves.

Truly it’s better to get Morata or Jovic back rather than paying 20+ mil for another random foreigner with one good season in Belgian league.
Morata is passed it. We need a bang on #1 or at least on par with Santi. Jovic ain’t that.
Ppl here so negative. Remember osimhem & lukaku also come from jupiler league and they are good striker. ACM not yet giving official bid but ppl here already judge this player bad
This guy may well be good.
But do you know who he is not better than… Lorenzo Lucca.
To think that Furlani and Moncada still have their jobs. They wouldn’t spend the money on a proven CF in Serie A and spent €32m on a poacher instead. The same poacher they are now looking to replace because Allegri, for all of his faults, knows what works and what doesn’t work in Italy.
Sorry guys am a Nigerian but this guy is a no no he doesn’t have what it takes atal another Ibrahim
Retegui cost was 20 mln euro last year. this management is ridiculous. I’m losing the hope step by step.
