MN: Theo Hernandez has signed new deal to commit long-term future to Milan – the details

AC Milan are very close to announcing the extension of Theo Hernandez’s contract as the full-back has penned the deal, a report claims.

According to the latest from Anto Vitiello of MilanNews, the announcement of the news is ‘very close’ as Milan have locked up the long-term future one of the best full-backs in Europe. He adds that Theo has signed an extension until 2026 with a pay rise up to around €4m net per season with bonuses.

Despite the interest from other top European clubs Theo has made the choice to stay at Milan, the club that have given him confidence and where he found in Paolo Maldini as a guide and a friend.

The arrived from Real Madrid and signed a contract until 2024 but will renew his deal until 2026, with the hope of becoming the best in the world in his position and continuing to ensure he is a starter for France, while also winning titles with the Rossoneri.

    Funny how i never see anyone post a comment and praised Maldini with his good work when comes to news like this.

    But when news about Kessie or Romagnoli renewal, i always see someone mocked Maldini.

    1. I think the negotiation failure is not on Maldini and Masara side. It is on Elliot or perhaps also Gazidis.
      Again, MnM wanted to sign vlahovic but the budget given by eliot is only adequate to sign lazetic. They want to sign botman, the budget isnt there, and they find another solution in Thiaw.
      Maldini and Masara doing a tough work under the pressure from Elliot. They see what the team needs, but the budget from Elliot hold them back. That is why, they have to be really really good in scouting. And Maignan is one of their excellence in scouting. Now kessie and roman is about to leave, Maldini have their replacement in mind. But again, it depends on the budget from Elliot. It is not Maldini money that Milan spent after all
