From Spain: Milan one of three possible destinations for 22-year-old Lille striker

Lille striker Timothy Weah could look to try a new experience and change clubs in the summer with AC Milan among three teams interested, a report claims.

The 22-year-old is the son of the legendary former Milan striker George Weah and several teams that have been following him for a long time given his talent, with Fichajes reporting that the Rossoneri are among them.

Lille bet on him when he began to stand out at Paris Saint-Germain and they signed him for €10m, and he is now valued at €15m. Milan want a younger centre-forward to compliment Giroud and Ibrahimovic, so they could try and entice Weah Jr. to follow his father’s footsteps.

Meanwhile, Sevilla were already interested in Weah during the winter market and they see great potential in him with Monchi weighing up a move, but MLS side Inter Miami are another option for the United States striker as they would happily build the attack around him with a move for Luis Suarez now appearing unlikely.

Interestingly, Weah declared himself available for a transfer to Milan in a recent interview, strongly hinting that he is ready for the next step in his career.
