Tuttosport: Milan have grown tired of waiting for Sanches

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are tired of waiting for Lille midfielder Renato Sanches who is pushing to join Paris Saint Germain instead, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are fed up of waiting to see if the Portuguese midfielder is going to pursue a move to Milan rather than PSG.

Given the lucrative deal that they have put on the table, Sanches is now pushing to join Christophe Galtier’s side rather than Milan despite the many months of work that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have put into the deal.

Milan and Lille have a great relationship and they are strong on their agreement with the French side. Once the Parisians expressed their interest, Sanches raised his salary expectations to a level that Milan cannot reach.

It is now getting very complicated to imagine the former Bayern Munich and Benfica man playing for Milan next season.

  1. I honestly don’t know why many players are so badly managed by their agents, forget that PSG is rich, the next logical step for any footballer who wants to be a world class footballer is Juve, Inter, AC Milan,Barca, Bayern and Real Madrid, these are clubs that make a player better technically and tactically, and give him a level of prestige he can never get anywhere, but alas players have become hopeless now.

    1. And how do you know it is his agent and not him? Incredible how you just make something up and write it like it is a fact.

      1. I have been a football and AC Milan fan for over 40years, so that time gives u a particular type of knowledge, and did you not read or hear from various media sources that Jorge Mendes is the one pushing him towards PSG simply bcos he will get a higher commission, and the salary promised to the boy is higher than what Milan is proposing, Milan wanted to tie up this deal as early as December, when they already had an agreement with Lille, but the player refused it bcos the agent promised him better deals in future, I would advice you to try and source more info on things before you petulantly attack people who clearly take their time to source for genuine news.

        1. Agents do what the players tell them to do lol. Period. You do the dirty work for your client. Plain and simple. That’s how it works. The player doesn’t want to pay the agents commission so he tells the agent to get the club to do it. No deal is done without the client/players approval. You make it seem like the players are idiots that don’t know anything about what goes on with their own futures lol. Wake up brother.

    2. In England there isn’t any love for players, that’s the reason Lukaku wants back, in Italy the love is there, that’s why I love Italy. Just take good steps

  2. As a Milan fan, if Sanchez wants to go to PSG let him go. I strongly belive that Milan is stronger without him. Donnaruma did the same thing because he thought Milan will fail without him. In contrast, he’s been failing since he joined PSG. We are Milan, the second most decorated club in the history of football after Real Madrid. If we can get CDK and Zyech from Chelsea, I think we should be fine.

    1. Exactly, if someone doesn’t want to really join the club should just tell him they aren’t even interested anymore and move on.

  3. Everyone can see that donnaruma is not playing every game he does sit on the bench not like he had it in Milan every game. And it will be the same thing for Sanchez at PSG

  4. Milan doesn’t even have space for another midfielder (even if Bakayoko leave). Tonali, Bennacer, Pobega, Krunic, & Adli are in the club.

  5. What’s the point of bringing someone who doesn’t want be here at all. Let the dude go to PSG and warm the bench there, I’m sure it’s not gonna be a problem to find a replacement.

  6. Sanches should just go where he wants to go. If his heart is not in it to go to the Rossoneri then that would not be a good move for AC.

  7. I’m not sure why we’re still after this jerk. When we tried to sign him from Benfica a few years ago, he turned us down and went to Bayern Munich.

  8. Don’t fall for this article.

*Botman wanted to come, he waited for us, but other serious contenders got him.

*CDK wants to come, he is waiting, Leeds could could have snapped him up, but his insistence on us is why we’re still in the race, he is still waiting.

*I put it to you, Sanches is still waiting, and if a serious contender comes, they may snap him up too.

Milan has not grown tired of waiting for anyone, rather, it’s the other way around.

  9. *Ziyech is waiting too, but we cannot seem to get an agreement whether to sign loan with obligation or option, we only want a dry loan.

If we aren’t sure about him, then go for Asensio who isn’t injury prone.

  10. Let him go to PSG . There is still many good DMF outside there like fofana, svanberg, schouten, even kante we can sign if we are willing to pay his salary 10m euro nett

  11. In my view Fofana of Lens is a better option if he is willing to join us. Physicality, pacy, pass accuracy and most importantly not injury prone (40 matches guaranteeby season)

  12. When Sanchez wanted Milan most, we were dilly dallying. For over a year. He’s right to look away. I blame the management

  13. It’s a known fact. Teams and greedy agents sell to the biggest bidder. They don’t care about players interest or development. If that was the case then Botman would have been a Milan player. How do you expect a 21yr old to handle the pressure from both the selling club and the agent to go for a certain deal, even if his heart is not there
