MN: Milan to be back in training morning after Napoli Champions League clash

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are going to be back in training the morning after they face Napoli in the Champions League quarter-final first leg, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, training has already been scheduled for Thursday morning at Milanello and the atmosphere of that session will be heavily dictated by the result at San Siro on Wednesday night.

The game is set to kick off at 21:00 CEST and it will see the two sides try and grab control of the tie, knowing that the winner will likely be facing Inter in the semi-final as the Nerazzurri won the first leg away at Benfica 2-0.

With Milan back in action on Saturday in Serie A at 15:00 CEST against Bologna, there is no time for Stefano Pioli to let his team have a full day off after the game.

They will immediately need to begin preparation for the Bologna match and the second leg in Naples.
