At the moment there are no advanced negotiations over the sale of Tijjani Reijnders, but there is enough noise to think about possible scenarios.

Selling Reijnders is the definition of clueless. I wouldn’t trust Furlani to change a lightbulb. And yet he’s supposed to offload TJ and find his replacement???
My thoughts exactly. There are so many other players they can offload , Reijnders should be kept. Selling him would be the easy way out for this management , they have to bring the fans on their side and this ain’t it.

Exactly. Instead of doing the right thing and selling all the deadwoods our management will for sure take the easiest path: sell our best players. Meaning Pulisic & Tijj. That way they don’t have to work for the money. They just wait until a club submits an offer and they’ll accept it. No need to negotiate even. Money comes in and they’re happy.

How can people read news about Milan every day and still think that Furlani is finding, picking and choosing players.
Furlani is just setting the budget, negotiating for the transfers and contracts, he isn’t picking the players.
Also, if you actually believe that Furlani is the one finding the players, than Furlani is the one that found Reijnders, so that raises the question why wouldn’t you trust him to find a replacement for Reijnders?

A broken clock is right twice per day, and out of a plethora of purchased players, Reijnders and Pulišić are the only good players so far.

Nothing has been lined up for Leao and Theo. They really do not have any potential destinations at the moment. Theo has not been offered a contract and Leao is just done here. They both might end up joining Pioli in Saudi.

If the management had ANY ambition, they’d sell the crappy ones (Musah, Chuk, Emerson etc.) but we all know they don’t want to make an effort. They’ll sell Pulisic & Tijj instead and bath in the incoming money. Then Moncada will go through his notes from 5-10 years ago and buy the replacements (max. 20M€ each). They’ll end up being backups for Musah, Chuk & Emerson Royal.
That’s how competent our management is.

No way City will splash 70 million at once.
Even Tonali sale, which was shown as 64 million, was around 46 million of capital gain. And Milan is missing – 100 million.
70 million at once for Reijnders, would be around 50- 55 capital gain. So they need – 50 more. Or to decrease squad costs for 50 million more. So like loans of expensive players etc….
I think in situation like this. Milan only hope is: sale of loaned players for huge fee like: Saelemaekers, Kalulu (at least 30 million of capital gain) plus immediately decrease costs of players who can’t be on this team, and not needed players like:
Walker, Felix – out, (use Florenzi and Jimenez). Sottil and Abraham – out.
Emerson Royal – sell for minimal fee to avoid capital loss (save is 9 million on cost side).
Sell Theo Hernandez (save is 9 million on cost side) + capital gain for every million above 3 million of transfer sale.
Sell Tomori to avoid to avoid capital loss (save is 10 million).
Sell Bennacer (save 9 million on cost side) + capital gain.
Sell Morata permanent (save 12 million).
So that’s combined 100 million. On capital gain from players sales, plus decrease of costs .
So what stayed ? Gimenez expenses, would increase costs, but we would have central forward, with Jovic, Camarda and I would return Okafor (money things).

No matter, what’s the name you have around 25 players, and only Serie A competition. Maybe here you have chance to bring some new better players as well. But best players you kept and managed 100 million of loss. In one competition you don’t need huge bench so focus can be on best 11 players…
Selling him mean that Milan has a little or no ambition going forward. Inter keep their spine players like barella, bastoni, lautaro while Milan sold their best player or lose it on free. Two of ex player that left for free will play in champions League final..

The first time i saw reijndeers wearing our shirt during pre season match, i already knew he was something special.
He was gonna be star for the team, because even in his first match with new team he already shown better skills than the rest.
His ability to move forward with the ball is something milan missing for years.
This season he’s been exceptional.
If he goes I don’t know if milan can have the luck to find a player like him with relatively cheap price.
Although i can understand if he wants to go seeing what a mess this club has become.
What is happening with City’s potential sanctions for breaking financial fair play rules.
