AC Milan remain interested in signing centre-back Nicolo Casale despite the fact he has renewed his deal with Hellas Verona, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Verona are very much enjoying the development of Nicolò Casale who has made himself a staple in the starting line-up this season.
The 24-year-old is expected to be a player who attracts plenty of interest this upcoming summer even though he extended his contract until June 2026. Dionisi, who has already coached him at Empoli, wanted him at Sassuolo while other clubs in Italy such as Lazio, Roma, Napoli and Milan are keen.
In January the requests that arrived were rejected by Verona who decided to keep him at least until the end of the season. Casale for his part is in no rush to leave and will not be agitating for an exit any time soon, while it must be noted that he is a Hellas fan too.
