CM: Milan ‘very close’ to ‘full agreement’ for Gila – the figures after months of negotiations

It appears that AC Milan will sign Mario Gila this summer, with recent reports suggesting that a deal has almost been completed with Lazio.

For some time now, it has seemed that Gila would leave Lazio in the summer. His contract expires next summer and he has no interest in a renewal. So, a transfer was the only real option for the Biancolesti.

There has been plenty of interest too. The Spaniard has been one of the standout defenders in the league recently, so Inter, along with Milan and even some Premier League clubs, have taken a look at him.

However, it appears that the Rossoneri will come out on top.

Milan close to Gila signing

Negotiations between Igli Tare and his former club have been ongoing for some time and it seems that it will pay off. Indeed, Calciomercato.com reports that the two clubs are ‘very close to a full agreement’.

Some formalities need to be sorted out still, but he will likely join the defensive line next season.

In terms of the figures of the deal, the two clubs are believed to have reached an agreement in the region of €25 million, meaning Lazio will pocket €12.5m due to Real Madrid’s clause.

Barring any change of heart or a big offer, Gila will be heading to Milanello in a few months!

  1. great news!

Having DeWinter, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Tomori and now Gila is very reassuring. We just need an upgrade for Estupinan, now.

  2. We need strikers than estupinan. If you want a good wing back / full back, just try search from italian players / milan reserve team. No need another raw french players / another foreign soldiers…

    1. The formation system of 352 we need a good and Sharp striker inter Milan they’re using the same formation 352 but for them they’ve winger that can crush well and also score goal but our own winger is another thing entirely and additional to winger defender also some of our defender are shaking at back before the ball come to them and we need strong and quality defender not anyhow defender

  3. if Gila does come, we’ll need a Top CB target on top of that to truly strengthen the defense and begin talks about a 4 man back line.

    1. DeWinter, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Tomori and now Gila; which for back 4 is 1 too many, if we were to add another CB, then 2.

Tomori is most likely target out of the 4, but who are you kicking out afterwards?
