Romano: Milan must wait longer with Newcastle star Tonali ‘not planning’ Serie A return yet

Any hopes of AC Milan re-signing Sandro Tonali have been put on hold for the time being as he is not ready to return to Serie A yet.

Ever since Tonali left for Newcastle United in a big-money deal ahead of last season, there have been repeated stories about a potential return to Milan down the line. However, it has always been acknowledged as difficult given the value that he has in the current market.

MilanNews even reported that the midfielder already has his mind made up that he will come back to the Rossoneri in the future, his boyhood club. There has even been talk that the captain’s armband could be waiting for him as an added incentive.

No return for now

Now, Fabrizio Romano has written the following update: “Sandro Tonali, not planning to return to Italy this summer despite reports as he’s ready to stay in Premier League.

“Tonali is on top Premier League clubs’ shortlist and he’s keen on staying in England at the highest level. Movements soon about his future.”

Speaking one month ago, the same journalist revealed his belief that a move back to Italy is a case of when rather than if: “Sandro Tonali is extraordinary. The idea, unfortunately, of seeing him again in Serie A is really far away at the moment.

“The temptation to present to Newcastle to understand how to bring Sandro Tonali back to Italy, here this desire will hardly become a reality. Manchester United are working hard on Tonali. We will hardly see him now in Italy.

“I remain convinced that one day Tonali will return. It probably won’t be this summer; it will be in the future, but Tonali’s desire for Italy remains.”

    1. S***w them, why are writing about that club at all? He’d be a perfect fit for us in every possible sense and that’s all that should matter to us.

        1. Enough said. In short, furlani is a clown and an money-fan m***n (I can’t decide whether he is a squirrel or a weasel, it could be the latter cause
it makes much more sence but he is a rodent as well), scaroni isn’t too much behind him in that sence and regard, an old f**l; ibrahimovic is a court jester and a mercenary but I can’t still find the proper words for cardinale and I mean it in a worst imaginable way; moncada is a monkey(ada) – just like furlani, he ressembles the animal which is the best to describe his character, useful i***t with a small amount of hard-working squirrel in him too because he did do some work at least…

  1. Messi (Barca), CR7 (Madrid) & Dzeko (Roma) willingly go to Milan w/ huge salary cut after talk w/ Maldini, but still foolani don’t let them, only Z who arrived after Maldini request to get him or resign
