CM: Milan interested in Hellas Verona star but face competition from abroad

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of the clubs that are keeping an eye on Hellas Verona playmaker Antonin Barak, according to a report.

Stefano Pioli has struggled to be able to rotate the attack over the past few weeks given the various injury and Covid problems which left the depth very stretched, and that is why Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are considering intervening in the January window to add another piece who offers more physical guarantees.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the exploits of Barak at Hellas Verona have drawn the attention of the management. The 26-year-old Czech midfielder has four goals in the league already this season and has been playing predominantly as an attacking midfielder under new boss Igor Tudor, and he is also popular in the Premier League and in the Bundesliga

It is not the first time Milan have been linked with Barak which suggests a continuous interest, and it will be interesting to see if a January bid is launched, given Romain Faivre also continues to be talked about as a target.
