AC Milan had a meeting recently with intermediaries connected to Watford winger Ismaila Sarr, according to what is being reported by Telelombardia.
The broadcaster (via MilanNews) reports that there was a meeting in recent days at Casa Milan between an intermediary of Ismaila Sarr and the Rossoneri management in view of the summer transfer window, when Milan are expected to make a signing for the right wing.
They add that the interest is there on the part of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, even if the asking price of Watford is around €50m which is very high. However, if they were to suffer relegation to the Championship – which they are currently on course for – then things would change as the player would ask to leave.
Telelombardia also mention that Milan face competition from Liverpool to sign the 24-year-old Senegal international, who has 5 goals and 1 assist this season in 16 Premier League games.
