AC Milan are behind the scenes to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2022-23 season and that are interested in a Watford winger, a journalist has claimed.
Ismaila Sarr has been one of Watford’s more impressive performances despite a season in which he has suffered with injuries and the team having been in the bottom three for almost the entire duration.
According to Calciomercato.com journalist Daniele Longo, Milan are looking at Sarr as a potential option for the right wing. He is under contract with the English club until the summer of 2024, and the Senegal international has 5 goals and 1 assist in 16 Premier League games this season.
Watford are highly threatened with relegation at the moment given they are in 19th and are running out of games to save themselves. Sarr could therefore push to leave the Hornets in search of a new challenge at a top club, and Milan are after an improvement on the right side.
