AC Milan are being linked with a move for Sankhoun Diawara, a defender who could bolster the Futuro ranks.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the latest target in Milan’s sights is Diawara who currently plays at Troyes. They go on to state that the 20-year-old seems more like a profile that would be signed for the second team rather than the senior squad.

Born in Paris on January 13, 2006, Sankhoun Diawara is a left-footed central defender. He is a product of the Troyes youth academy, and stands out for his athleticism and his reading of the game from a defensive point of view.
The 2025-26 season could be classed a breakout one for Diawara as he made his first forays into professional football in Ligue 2 with the Troyes shirt. He made 14 appearances in total (12 as a starter), playing 1050 minutes and getting an assist.
The fact he registered 70% tackles won and 75% aerial duels won shows the obvious potential that Diawara has. His contract with Troyes expires in June 2027, something that might force the French club to consider a sale in order to avoid losing the France U19 international for free.
Milan have invested a lot in the past couple of years when it comes to stockpiling potential gems for the future, from David Odogu and Zachary Athekame to El Hadji Malick Cisse and Yahya Idrissi-Regragui.
