AC Milan have already decided on their first summer signing, before the arrival of a new head coach and/or sporting director, a telling sign.
When Kyle Walker arrived in January, there was a very mixed reaction. Some believed that it was just another stepping stone, whilst others believed it was an option that Milan could, and did, rightly take advantage of.
Whilst he has not been the difference between the Champions League and nothing, the Englishman has already confirmed his place as the right-back for the rest of the season, and his biggest role is still happening.
The former Manchester City defender was brought largely for his experience and leadership qualities, which will continue to be massively needed as the Rossoneri step into a new era and project this summer.
With leaders set to leave, there is a need for a restructuring at squad level too, and Walker can drive standards, whilst playing a valuable role in the team.
So, Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) states that the decision has already been made to sign him permanently for the €5 million fee agreed during the January mercato. Put shortly, he has already convinced everyone, and action will definitely be taken.

Is he convinced to stay?
Yes, 6 of his 9 baby mamas voted for staying in Milan
You joke but it’s probably closer to the truth. His modern mistresses would gladly rather live in Milan than in Saudi where there are certain… restrictions… if you’re an unmarried woman.
I wasn’t joking brother
