CM: Milan willing to wait to get their hands on talented Hellas Verona midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan hold a strong interest in signing Ivan Ilic so much so that they may even be willing to wait to get their hands on him, a report claims.

Milan are in the market for a new central midfielder now but they have show a willingness to wait for the right player, as seen in the Yacine Adli operation where the management got a deal done last summer but allowed him to join Bordeaux on a season-long loan to get the operation over the line.

According to Calciomercato.com, Lazio are continuing to monitor Ivan Ilic’s future but if nobody is sold then their sporting director Igli Tare will not be able to make a concrete move. At the moment Luis Alberto has no suitors, so Milan could become a real optoon.

After making an enquiry in recent days Ilic could become more than a name on the wish list for the Rossoneri who like the player, and in the next few days they could hold talks with Hellas Verona to try build an operation for the future.
