AC Milan Women made light work of their match against Lazio Women in the Coppa Italia Femminile by winning the game 7-0.
It was the final group game for Milan in the tournament which starts with groups of three teams who play each other once. The other team in Milan’s group was Terni from Serie B.
Lazio are currently top of Serie B but they were no match for the Rossonere who opened the scoring through Laura Fusetti’s header.
Angelica Soffia soon made it 2-0 before Lindsey Thomas got on the scoresheet once again and made it 3-0 to Maurizio Ganz’s side.
Thomas then turned creator for the fourth goal which was scored by Martina Piemonte, before two goals in six minutes from Sara Thrige Andersen and Valentina Bergamaschi made it 6-0.
To make it an incredible seven different goalscorers, Kamila Dubcova added the seventh.
Milan now move into the quarter-finals where they are likely to face Serie A Femminile opposition instead, which will be a much tougher test.
