This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports how Milan have opened discussions with Sassuolo for Scamacca, a player who is also wanted by Inter. The Nerazzurri were the ones who moved first, looking to beat the competition, but then Marotta decided not to accelerate.
The paper adds how the Rossoneri management could deepen the discussions over Scamacca regardless of whether or not they sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Scamacca is 23 and has 13 league goals to his name this season with the Neroverdi having returned to his parent club following a loan spell at Genoa last season. He scored the fourth goal in their rout of Spezia last night at the MAPEI Stadium.
