CorSport: Milan working on seven potential exits in bid to make room for signings

By Oliver Fisher -

While there remains a lot of focus on the players AC Milan will sign this summer, there is also ongoing work to thin out the squad and make room for new arrivals.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) begin with Samu Castillejo, who can leave this summer for €4m and could become an opportunity for Valencia, where he would reunite with former head coach Gennaro Gattuso.

Leo Duarte moved permanently to Istanbul Basaksehir after an 18-month loan but at a discounted figure of €2m. The exit of Lorenzo Colombo to Lecce was also made official as the striker has gone there on loan with option to buy and with a buy-back.

Work is still being done to sell Mattia Caldara for €4m with Spezia interested, but they would like to pay a little less. Daniel Maldini is close to joining Hellas Verona on loan meanwhile, and Tiemouè Bakayoko should have his loan ended early with Marseille keen.

Finally, the fate of Fodé Ballo-Toure must also be clarified, as the Senegal international could leave for €3.5m or even on loan.
